Video Production Co-ordinator Opportunity
Rising Stars are looking for a Video Production Coordinator to shoot, edit, archive and manage in-house video content for our YouTube channel. Applicants are required to have their own camera, editing software and be a proficient editor and camera operator.
JOB TITLE: Video Production Co-ordinator
This is a part time post of 6-8 hours a week for an initial period of 3 months (July – September 2014). It is an entry-level wage with scope for increase as our organisation grows. The position is based at our office in Manchester, days and hours may vary according to projects and events.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To shoot, edit, archive and manage in-house video content, for our Youtube channel and affiliates. Candidate must ensure all video content is filmed at the highest possible quality, archived, edited and released on scheduled dates. You will work closely with our project coordinator to increase our online presence across all social networks. Your key purpose will be to increase views and subscribers to our Youtube channel.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Archiving Raw footage onto office server
- Completing monthly video production schedule
- Researching and developing ideas for new content
- Assembling raw footage into a completed video
- Maximizing and managing our Youtube account effectively
- Overseeing and checking edits for quality and corrected labels, title, description etc
